Taking in the murals on a bike trail in Minneola. Swipe to the end for a spooktacular scene. The many colors of Miami 🎨 A sculpture of birds in flight. A bird perched on said sculpture. Swan boats and swans on the lake. Taking in all the views (mainly of birds in all forms) at Lake Eola. Up close and personal with the lions of the Alhambra — a throwback from a few years ago. Spain — Andalusia in particular — is very very very high on my bucket list for another visit. I’d highly recommend visiting the Alhambra if you’re ever in the region. You can read more about my experiences there at imanseeks.com. Let sleeping cat lie? Here’s a fun find from downtown Orlando. I caught it out of the corner of my eye as I was walking down the sidewalk — I almost missed it. I love how the panther is partially obscured by shrubbery, much like an actual one would do to sneak up on its prey. Don’t tell De Anza… but West Valley College is one of my favorite places to walk. 🙈 The campus is scenic and serene. And I love seeing the art and sculptures around campus. These are just a couple examples. A couple minion sightings from my camera roll. The second sighting is courtesy of participants in CSPAA’s Downbeat! summer day camp this past July. A mini version of a Magritte – my rendition of The Lovers. Swipe to see the finished product! 🎨 Delicious. That’s one word I could use to describe Wayne Thiebaud’s works — from his bold, luscious use of color (photos don’t do it justice) to his choices in subject matter, of course. Food — particularly sweets — and Mickey Mouse appear frequently in his body of work.
