Cotton Tower

View of a weathered pink blocky building with small windows on the first level and boarded up windows on the second level. It has a thatched roof.

An old signal station in Barbados.

Now defunct, the Cotton Tower Signal Station was once part of a network of stations used to monitor the island for defensive purposes. The tower is located in the hills of St. Joseph parish. My father and I stumbled upon the tower while sightseeing the island’s parish churches.
