Castles, windmills, and beaches – oh my! This summer, I visited my father’s homeland: the beautiful island of Barbados. It was a surreal visit because it’s something my family has talked about doing for so long. It didn’t seem real that it finally happened. Barbados was also very different from what I was expecting (generally in a good way). For an island described as “twenty-one miles long and a smile wide” Barbados has a lot to offer. Stay tuned for some brief but memorable highlights from my visit. Pictured: a window to the ocean in Animal Flower Cave, Saint Lucy.
Wow. I am blown away. What an accomplishment. I really enjoyed the pictures and the narrative with it.
