This week’s favorite find takes me back across the pond to London.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly a year since I visited. While there, we stayed at a flat in Shoreditch on Brick Lane. The neighborhood was alive with a bold personality all its own. Dynamic graffiti, vivacious nightlife, boisterous locals–seriously, some of our favorite Londoner quotes and memories came from here. I don’t know that it’d be the first choice for many people when visiting London but I also imagine that gentrification is changing that. From my very limited yet positive experience of Brick Lane I’ll say that I enjoyed this hip corner of town for what it was. Bonus: This was also where we came across Brick Lane Mosque.
